1. Controlling cutoff
The cancellation and rescheduling cutoff displayed at checkout and in the booking confirmation for your purchase is the cutoff that applies. The standard cutoff is currently 24 hours, but the displayed period may be updated for future bookings.
2. Private tutoring and eligible specialty services
You may cancel an eligible paid booking before its cutoff for a full refund to the original payment method. Use the private “Change or cancel this booking” link in your confirmation email. If that link is unavailable, email review@examreviews.ca before the cutoff and include the name and email used for the booking.
Cancellations received inside the cutoff are not eligible for an automatic refund. Contact us if an exceptional circumstance prevented attendance; any accommodation beyond your statutory rights is discretionary and is not guaranteed.
3. Multi-session packages
A package is purchased and discounted as one service. A cancellation request cancels every session in the booking. To receive a full refund, cancellation must be completed before the applicable cutoff measured from the first scheduled package session.
Once the package cutoff has passed or any package session has started, the package is non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed by Exam Reviews. Eligible individual sessions may be rescheduled through the booking-management page, subject to availability and the displayed cutoff.
4. Course review sessions
Registrations for scheduled course review sessions are non-refundable because capacity and preparation are committed when a place is purchased. This does not limit a refund or other remedy required by law or the remedies below when Exam Reviews cancels or materially changes the service.
5. Rescheduling
An eligible session may be moved to another available time before its cutoff using the private booking-management link. A requested time is not reserved until the change is confirmed by the system. Rescheduling is subject to current availability and may not be possible during high-demand periods.
6. Missed sessions and late arrival
A session missed without an eligible cancellation is not refundable. Arriving late does not extend the scheduled end time. If an Exam Reviews or Microsoft Teams issue prevents the session from taking place, contact us promptly so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate reschedule or refund.
7. Cancellation or material change by Exam Reviews
If we cancel a paid service and cannot provide a reasonable replacement acceptable to you, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled service or affected portion. If we make a material change to a confirmed service, we will offer a reasonable alternative or the remedy required by applicable law.
8. Refund processing
Approved card refunds are submitted through Stripe to the original payment method. Exam Reviews will send a cancellation or refund-status message when the request is processed. Your bank or card issuer controls when the credit appears; processing time can vary.
If a refund fails or the original payment method cannot receive it, contact us. We may need additional information to resolve the issue securely, but we will never ask you to send a full card number by email.
9. Incorrect or duplicate charges
Contact review@examreviews.ca promptly if you believe you were charged incorrectly or more than once. Include the purchaser’s name, email, transaction date, and amount, but do not email card details.
10. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits a cancellation, refund, warranty, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived. Where applicable law gives you a greater right or remedy, that law applies.
